Noal Heads to Mayo!

Noal is heading to Mayo next week for 1-2 days, and if everything goes smoothly, he will officially be listed as eligible to receive a kidney from a live donor!

I'm trying to imagine how he's feeling - perhaps a mix of anticipation and excitement? To reach this stage, his cancer markers had to be virtually nonexistent, he maintained his hemodialysis, underwent extensive counseling, and had outpatient surgery on his fistula.

Despite these medical challenges, he continues to see patients in his physical therapy practice, finds time to write letters of recommendation for my son, and still makes time for family and fun, such as watching his talented gymnast son compete at Nationals in Reno, NV!

He's truly an inspiration!
